  • How do I get started with learning?

    New Opticare Customers

    As part of your onboarding, you should receive your Opticare Academy login details and access instructions.

    Existing Opticare Customers

    Existing Opticare customers will receive an email containing their Opticare Academy access details and login instructions.

    If you have not received your access details, please contact your Opticare Business Development Manager.

  • Can other staff members in my practice access Opticare Academy?

    Yes. Additional access can be arranged for your team members.

    To set up access, we simply require:

    • Full name
    • Email address
    • Role within the practice/team

    Each team member will receive their own individual login to Opticare Academy.

  • Is access to Opticare Academy included with my Opticare membership?

    Yes. Opticare Academy is an exclusive learning platform available to Opticare customers and approved team members.

  • Can I access Opticare Academy on mobile devices?

    Yes. Opticare Academy can be accessed using your computer, tablet, and mobile phone.

    This allows you to learn anytime, anywhere.

  • What types of training are available?

    Opticare Academy includes training such as: Lens education, Equipment training, New technologies in optics, Practice growth & management Sales & marketing, Product and technology updates, and Internal Opticare training

  • Can I complete courses at my own pace?

    Yes. Most courses are self-paced, allowing you to learn according to your schedule.

    Your course progress is automatically saved.

  • What learning formats are available?

    Training and learning materials may include:

    • Online courses
    • Video tutorials
    • Downloadable resources and guides
    • Webinars and live sessions
    • In-person training opportunities which you can request from your Opticare Business Development Manager.
  • Do courses include assessments?

    Most courses within Opticare Academy include assessments or knowledge checks designed to help reinforce learning and track understanding.

    These may include:

    • Short quizzes
    • Knowledge checks
    • Interactive activities
    • Completion requirements

    Assessment formats may vary depending on the course or training module.

  • Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?

    Some courses may provide a certificate of completion once all required lessons and assessments have been successfully completed.

    Certificates may be downloadable and printable for your own professional development records.

  • Will CPD points be credited for courses completed in Opticare Academy?

    Not yet for now.

    While Opticare Academy is designed to support professional learning and development, CPD accreditation is not currently available for courses on the platform.

    We are continuously exploring opportunities to expand the learning value of Opticare Academy and will communicate any future CPD developments as they become available.

  • Do you offer in-person training?

    Yes. In-person training sessions are available and may be delivered by:

    • Opticare’s Training & Development team
    • Opticare Business Development Managers

    These sessions are practical, interactive, and tailored to your team’s needs.

  • What happens if our Opticare account becomes inactive?

    Access to Opticare Academy may be temporarily suspended if your Opticare account becomes inactive.

    Your learning history and account information are generally retained and may be restored once access is reactivated.

  • I forgot my password. What should I do?

    Use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page to reset your password.

  • Who do I contact if I need support?

    You can contact us through the Contact Us page or speak with your Opticare Business Development Manager.

For Non-Opticare Customers

  • What is Opticare Academy?

    Opticare Academy is Opticare’s dedicated learning platform designed to support eye care professionals through practical training, industry insights, and professional development resources.

  • Can non-Opticare customers access Opticare Academy?

    At this stage, Opticare Academy is exclusively available to Opticare customers and approved users only. Please contact us here if you are interested in accessing our courses.

  • How can I learn more about becoming an Opticare customer?
